Spackle and Paint: A Simple and Affordable Way to Make Beautiful DIY Wall Art

Are you tired of staring at plain, boring walls in your home?

Do you want to add some personality and style to your space without breaking the bank?

I wanted a large statement piece above our dining room buffet, but either wasn't able to find the design I wanted in the size I wanted or they were outside my price range, so I decided to do a little DIY!

I have not done a lot with canvases, so definitely not an expert, just a gal who likes to find ways to beautify her home, while helping other do the same!

Believe it or not I was able to create this large 48" x 24" wall art for the cost of the canvas, which I found on sale for under $20! I had all of the other supplies already on hand. Some great places to find blank canvases on sale are Michaels, JoAnn's Fabrics and Hobby Lobby.

With just a few simple materials, you can create beautiful and unique pieces that will liven up any room.

The best part about this DIY wall art project is that it's completely customizable to your taste and style. You can create multiple canvases with different textures and colors to create a cohesive gallery wall, or create one large statement piece.

The possibilities are endless!

Creating beautiful wall art doesn't have to be complicated or expensive. With a blank canvas, spackle, and paint, you can create unique and personalized pieces that will add personality and style to any room in your home.

Are you going to give it a try? I would love to hear if you do!
